A pushchair walk around Tatton Park

Distance: 5.3km

With Alistair spending the day walking in the Shropshire hills, I decided to take Isabel for an all terrain pushchair walk.  This would also give Isabel a chance to try out her new red spotty wellies! We arrived at Tatton Park just as the gates were opening and set off walking through the Stables Yard and past the Mansion.

The walk then followed a grassy track down to Melchett Mere.

Isabel particularly enjoyed the view of the planes landing in Manchester Airport - shouting "plane. plane" a lot!  The walk then passed through woodland where Isabel was able to collect a pine cone.   After passing Mill Pool  the walk followed a grassy track - as it was nice and flat I got Isabel out of her pushchair to test out her wellies.  Isabel enjoyed walking along looking at the deer in the distance.

She decided she was tired just before we reached the Air forces Memorial and got back in her pushchair.

We then followed the drive back to the Stable Yard where we brought some Lemon Shortbread to celebrate a very nice walk.
